Emergency and Critical Care Assistant
Jahanara hails from Northeast Philly, where she cherished the tight-knit community that surrounded her during her elementary school days. Even at a young age, she felt a deep passion for caring for animals. Her childhood memories are filled with moments of her and her mother rescuing and nurturing stray cats and kittens. When she turned 16, Jahanara started volunteering with animals, which ignited a spark within her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She began working at a veterinary general practice as a client service representative and technician, where her expertise and skills in the field flourished.
Taking the next step in her veterinary career, Jahanara joined the PASE team, where she thrives in the friendly and supportive work environment. She finds joy in being surrounded by various specialists, learning something new every day, and encountering diverse cases. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is witnessing animals recover and return home to their families.
Outside of work, Jahanara spends her time with her two beloved bunnies. Bambie, who will celebrate his 6th birthday in June 2024, and Blossom, an 8-month-old rescued from a dumpster at a previous general practice where Jahanara worked.
