Emergency & Critical Care Nurse
Victor, one of our New York City transplants, started his journey into animal care in 2015. While obtaining his BS in Biology (Pre-Med) at CUNY Medgar Ever’s College, he worked in various positions throughout the field. With a seemingly unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Victor went from a Brooklynite “kennel hand” to finding himself at the Animal Medical Center where he worked for 3 years in Radiology and Emergency/Critical Care. Since leaving AMC, his career path has ventured into academia and general practice. However, after being approached with an opportunity to help be a catalyst in the positive change PASE hopes to bring to specialty veterinary medicine, he quickly went from the “Big Apple” to the "City of Brotherly Love!"
“Be better than I was yesterday” is a mantra that Victor starts each day with. To him, this means absorbing all he can each day, while working toward improving the medical care available to our furry companions that don’t speak our language. When he isn’t working, Victor enjoys spending his free time singing, creating new dance routines as a licensed Zumba instructor, or simply “annoying” his cohorts with his sunny disposition.
