Philadelphia Animal Specialty & Emergency (PASE) is Philadelphia’s newest privately-owned veterinary hospital and WE ARE OPEN! We are thrilled to be serving you and your family. PASE also has critical care specialists onsite and available seven days a week.

Our goal at PASE is simple: we strive to advance veterinary medicine by providing unparalleled emergency and specialty healthcare for patients and their families with an emphasis on teamwork, service, diversity, respect, and expertise. As a family-owned practice, we recognize the simple fact that our pets are simply a four-legged extension of our families and treat our patients as such.

Affiliate Hospital:
We are excited to share that Philadelphia Animal Specialty & Emergency (PASE) has partnered with NorthStar VETS in March 2025. This collaboration between two veterinarian-led hospitals enhances clinical care and expands the services we offer to the community. Our goal is to foster a collaborative environment where both hospitals learn from one another—ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients. NorthStar VETS has three New Jersey locations: Robbinsville open 24/7, Maple Shade open daily 7AM-11PM, and Brick open 24/7.

PASE and NorthStar VETS will continue to operate independently, so current processes and expectations remain unchanged for referring veterinarians and clients. All doctors and services will stay the same, providing a seamless experience for both new and existing patients.
