Veterinary Technician - Emergency & Critical Care Overnight

A PASE Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Technician will work with veterinary assistants, veterinary technicians, veterinarians, and board-certified veterinary criticalists to provide exceptional care for small animal patients undergoing emergency care and hospitalization within a multidisciplinary specialty hospital.
- This position is for Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). PASE pays a shift differential of $2-$5/hr between the hours of 8pm to 7am.
Veterinary Technician - Internal Medicine
Philadelphia Animal Specialty & Emergency (PASE) is a privately-owned hospital in the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We are seeking a full-time experienced and compassionate Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. Our hospital currently includes two Criticalists, two Neurologists, two Surgeons, an Internist (with a second Internist joining our team in the Fall of 2025), an Anesthesiologist, and an Oncologist with a 24-hour emergency department. We are committed to delivering compassionate care and practicing the highest standards of veterinary medicine for our patients and clients. We prioritize education, offering a range of in-house training for our technicians and support staff and CE lectures for our referring community.
As an Internal Medicine (IM) Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our internists while providing top level care for our patients. You will act as a liaison between our veterinary team and clients, delivering important updates and care instructions. Your work will involve a combination of direct communication (phone, email, in-person) and hands-on technical support during diagnostic and treatment procedures. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work collaboratively, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
