Veterinary Technician - Clinical Manager for Internal Medicine

Description: Philadelphia Animal Specialty and Emergency (PASE) is seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Manager for Internal Medicine to support and lead our Internal Medicine service within a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital environment. This role is designed for a licensed CVT or highly experienced veterinary technician who is passionate about both patient care and team leadership, and who is motivated to drive operational excellence while fostering a supportive and growth-oriented workplace.

A PASE Clinical Manager for Internal Medicine will work closely with the Internal Medicine service leader(s) and the Technician Manager to oversee the daily operations of the service while leading and supporting the technician and assistant team. This individual is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care through strong technical expertise, effective staffing and scheduling, and consistent workflow management. The Clinical Manager serves as the direct supervisor for all support staff within Internal Medicine, maintaining accountability through regular feedback, performance reviews, and clear expectations.

In addition, this role plays a key part in establishing effective communication across hospital departments and with the referring community, while ensuring the Internal Medicine service operates in alignment with PASE’s vision and core values. With support from hospital leadership, the Clinical Manager is expected to cultivate a positive team culture, promote professional development, and uphold the highest standards of clinical and operational performance.
