Introducing Kristin, one of the skilled technicians specializing in surgical procedures at PASE. Kristin hails from Allentown, New Jersey, where she was born and raised. At the age of 12, Kristin discovered her deep affection for animals and aspired to pursue a career dedicated to their care. During her junior year at Penn State, she had an invaluable opportunity to intern at a breeding farm, further reinforcing her passion.
Initially, Kristin embarked on her veterinary journey by working with horses in the equine medicine field for several years. Among the various aspects of Equine medicine, her favorite was tending to the needs of young foals. After completing her college education, Kristin returned to New Jersey and joined a 24-hour Emergency and Specialty Hospital, focusing on caring for small animals. It was during this period that Kristin honed her skills and expanded her knowledge in the veterinary domain. Additionally, she discovered her true calling for surgery and anesthesia, which ignited a profound passion within her.
Within the surgery department, Kristin finds immense fulfillment in reuniting pets with their families, witnessing the pets' improved well-being compared to when they first arrived. Beyond her professional life, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, indulging in relaxation on the beach. She also cherishes the company of her beloved 7-year-old cat, Jolie, and finds solace in getting lost in the pages of captivating mystery and fantasy novels.
