Internal Medicine​​​​​​​


Dr. Guttin received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester, and her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she also completed her Internal Medicine Residency training.  After working in private practice, Dr. Guttin moved to the small Caribbean island of Grenada as a faculty member at St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine, teaching small animal internal medicine, communication skills, and topics surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion, to veterinary students. While teaching, Dr. Guttin earned her Master of Education degree from St. George's University, where she continued to teach veterinary medicine until she joined PASE in 2025.  Dr. Guttin enjoys educational research and continues to collaborate on research projects to improve veterinary education with colleagues around the world, from the Caribbean to Bangladesh, Ireland, and Romania.  Her internal medicine interests include renal and urinary diseases, immune-mediated diseases, and gastrointestinal/hepatic diseases.
 

Dr. Guttin's family is from Mexico, and she is bilingual, and welcomes Spanish-speaking clients!  Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and reading thrillers and mysteries.  She has a Grenadian pothound (the local breed) named Aye-aye, who also enjoys camping and hiking.
