Veterinary Assistant

Esai was born in New York and raised in Philadelphia from the age of four. One of his favorite parts of living in Philly is the access to nature and trails right in his neighborhood. He loves hiking as a way to unplug from the hustle and bustle of city life, and finds that being outdoors is where he feels most at peace.

Esai’s love for animals began at 16 when he started pet-sitting his neighbors’ cats. That early experience led him to a role as a kennel assistant, where his passion for working with animals truly flourished. What he enjoys most about veterinary medicine is the opportunity to help both people and their pets at the same time.

Outside of work, Esai enjoys hiking, creating artwork, and making music. While he has a soft spot for big dogs and a deep respect for small dogs, he has ultimately found himself embracing life as a proud feline dad.​​​​​​​
