Oncology Technician

Jackie attended the University of the Arts, earning a Bachelor's degree in Animation and Media Arts. After graduating, she quickly pivoted to veterinary medicine and has been in the field since 2010. Today, Jackie is part of the Oncology team at PASE, her second specialty hospital. Oncology has captured her heart because of the meaningful relationships she builds with patients and their families. She is especially proud of her ability to work with even the spiciest feline patients.

Outside of work, Jaclyn can usually be found outdoors. Whether she's hiking, tackling elevation trails, kayaking, or spending time at the beach, she thrives in nature. One of her personal goals is to visit every national park in the United States, and she has already explored around 20.  At home, Jackie shares her life with Dany, her adventurous Husky and one of her own oncology patients, as well as her 14-year-old cat, Chancellor Puff—better known as Puffie—who has blossomed into an affectionate lovebug over the years. She also lovingly remembers Cleetus, her first cat as an adult, who passed away in October. Cleetus was a famously talkative companion and a self-appointed shoulder cat, despite being far too large for the job.
