Shannon

Neurology Technician

Shannon, originally from Harleysville, PA, enjoys living in a location that offers easy access to the city, mountains, and beach — the perfect balance of nature and urban life.

Her passion for veterinary medicine began in her teens while volunteering at Last Chance Ranch. During that time, she assisted in the long-term care of a draft mule alongside a veterinarian. That hands-on experience was a turning point, inspiring her to pursue a career dedicated to helping animals.

Shannon is especially drawn to the variety and depth of the veterinary field. She appreciates the opportunity to work with diverse species and across multiple areas of practice, including small animal, farm animal, wildlife, and exotics. The constant learning and evolving nature of veterinary medicine keeps her fully engaged and continuously challenged.

Her career path has included roles in general practice, volunteering with wildlife rehabilitation, and working in a neurology specialty service at a veterinary referral hospital. Now at PASE, Shannon brings her expertise to neurology and emergency while also pursuing her veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of work and her studies, Shannon enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and spending time with her two cats, Sprout and Squash. She rescued the pair as abandoned kittens from her front porch when they were 6 weeks old, and they’ve been by her side ever since.
