Emergency & Critical Care Technician
Stephanie grew up in Bucks County and began working at a referral veterinary practice while pursuing a degree in counseling psychology. Over the course of four years, she gained experience in nearly every role—starting as a kennel attendant and later working as a grooming assistant, receptionist, weekend/night shift manager, and technician assistant.
After completing her studies in psychology, Stephanie was presented with an unexpected opportunity to work as a surgery assistant in an emergency animal hospital. Knowing it was a chance she couldn’t pass up, she made the leap into veterinary medicine and has never looked back. Now working at PASE as an emergency veterinary assistant, Stephanie is excited to continue growing in the field and plans to return to school to become a certified veterinary technician. For her, the most rewarding experience is seeing an animal transform from fearful and in pain to trusting and comfortable.
Stephanie’s passion for helping animals extends to her own rescue cat, Shaun. Once the shy, quiet cat hiding in the corner, Shaun is now a loyal companion who enjoys sitting in her lap while she reads, plays video games, or watches movies. Outside of work, Stephanie also loves listening to music and dancing around the apartment with Shaun by her side.
