You’re invited! Join us on March 16, 2023 (7:30 - 8:30 PM) for our CE event kicking off our 2023 series!

Led by PASE's Co-Head of Neurology & Neurosurgery, Dr. Austin Kerns, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Neurology), this one credit hour virtual CE event will discuss key points in the neurological examination of felines and common differential diagnoses for their spinal cord disease. Additionally, we will discuss recent updates in the clinical approach for several of these diseases. Attendees will leave the event sufficiently equipped to examine feline patients with neurologic disease, construct an ordered differential diagnosis list for the patient's spinal cord disease, and, ultimately, better discuss diagnostics, treatment, and prognosis.

Led by PASE's Head of Ophthalmology, Dr. Elizabeth Lutz, DVM, MS, DACVO, this two-credit-hour RACE-approved lecture will discuss the clinical recognition and diagnosis of canine and feline glaucoma presented to the primary care veterinarian in daily practice. Diagnostic testing and medical management in the primary care setting will be discussed, along with guidelines for referral for specialty care. Surgical intervention appropriate for the primary care setting will be discussed, as well as indications for referral for specialty care, and options therein. The focus of this lecture will be the proper clinical recognition of disease, followed by guidelines for clinical or surgical management versus referral to a veterinary ophthalmologist for further care.
