Dr. Swanson headed back home to the west coast after residency and worked in private practice for 4 years, but she could not pass up the opportunity to move to Philadelphia to work with her east coast friends and colleagues. She loves all aspects of veterinary neurology, but has a particular interest in immune-mediated central nervous system diseases.
Outside of work, Dr. Swanson loves tending to her rooftop garden and cooking for her family and friends. She shares her home with her partner, Austin, and 3 cats, all acquired during residency – Regular Cat, Bling, and Doug.
